On recent trip to San Francisco I was pleased to learn that the USA wasn't all about super sized boiling hot filter coffee. Nestled in the heart of SF Museum of Modern Art is an outlet of Blue Bottle Coffee, a small network of cafe's (read franchise) which all share a common roastery.

Maximilian Riedel is without a doubt the most interesting travelling glass salesman you'll ever meet. His charming but uncompromising approach towards wine was in full force yesterday at the Riedel trade tasting held at Vinopolis. Gathering sommeliers and restauranteurs from across the capital, Maximilian aimed to convince this tough audience of one point - that the glassware chosen for a wine can significantly impact upon how well it will show.

London International Wine Fair 2011

My legs are sore, drinking arm heavy from repeating for three days and the Vendange Tardive Riesling is taking its toll, but I'm still excited enough to throw down a few photos from the 2011 London International Wine Fair.
