I love Japanese food. Really love it, as in 'could eat it every day for lunch and dinner and maybe breakfast too' (but only if I can have
super-thick toast). Unfortunately up until this point, almost every Japanese food experience which i've had in the UK has been marbled with disappointment. This certainly hasn't been from lack of adventure. I've tried it all, frozen 'made in Iceland' supermarket sushi, soggy street samples and - worst of all - overpriced, poorly executed 'high end' Japanese complete with smiling Sake waiter.
